Bryson's Dedication

On Sunday, Bryson was dedicated at church. It feels like yesterday that Brady was dedicated!
Aren't they precious. It is hard to tell, but I made them matching ties. I love dressing them alike.
 Our happy family.
 Bryson loves his Gramps.
Nana, Gramps, Aunt Jen, and cousin Chelsey were able to make it to support our sweet boy.
We have had a lot of babies at church recently.
It was such a special day, and we just know that God has amazing plans for his life.

4 months old

Thsi sweet little baby is four months old already! In fact, he was last Monday. He is growing too big too fast.
e adores his brother. He is smiley and coos and "talks". His laugh is so serious, and almost sounds like his cry. He can roll from his back to his stomach very easily.
He is not as good at rolling from stomach to back, but he can if he gets mad enough. He is starting to scoot around, and move a little.
He sleeps on his right side mostly, or on his stomach, which I do not like of course. He takes a short nap in the morning, but will sometimes sleep for 4 hours in the afternoon, if he needs to catch up!
His bedtime is 7pm, and he wakes up in between 6:30 am or 7 am. He still wakes up twice in the middle of the night, and immediately expects to be fed and then put back to bed. He sleeps in his crib at, and most times will fall asleep on his own.
He is grabbing for things, and I now have to watch things while holding him. He likes to suck on his socks and toes. As hard as I tired to make him love the pacifier, he gave it up. He has instead started sucking on his fingers.
So now we have one thumb sucker, and one finger sucker. He loves baths, and the exersaucer. He sat in the jumper at church for a good hour the other night. His eyes are still blue, but they are starting to get greener. He is an amazing baby, and just precious!

Happy Baby

Bryson is such a happy baby, all the time. He is rarely upset, and you can almost always get a smile from him.

I was having a not good day, but that face just cheered me up a little bit. I hope it did the same for you. Isn't he the sweetest? How is he 4 months old already?

1st day of Preschool

Last Thursday was Brady first day of preschool. Every day for weeks he would ask if school was today. It was so nice when we could finally say yes!

He loves it! It is amazing, how after one day of preschool he is now longer shy. He will talk to everyone. Crazy, but good.

After his first day, during dinner, we did a little interview. You can tell from the interview what we were having for dinner. I did not prompt him for anything, I wrote down exactly what he said so it was very accurate. I think it will be cute to do again in future years on his firsts days of school.

- What is your name? Brady (Bray -de)
- How old are you? Three (with fingers) he then says 3 months old
- What is your favorite color? Orange
- Who is your best friend? Julien and Jayce
- Favorite animal? Giraffes, Monkeys, and Gorillas
- Who do you want to be when you grow up? The chicken
- What is your favorite movie? Jake and the Neverland Pirates
- What is your favorite book? Clifford book
- What makes you happy? Silly things
-What makes you sad? When Belle and Coco run into my friends house and make me cry (?)
- What is your favorite song to sing? ABC's (and then starts singing, but starts with the letter H)
- What games to do like to play? The Toy Story game

Can not believe that my baby is in school. He has left the nest. But when I pick him up and he runs to me and yells mommy, it melts my heart. We talk about his day, and he is so excited to tell me all about it and I love it. I am sad that my baby is growing up, but he is having a wonderful life and childhood, and what parent wouldn't want that for their child. He is only 3 and I am so proud of him.

Gone Fishin

This past week we got to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma Karen who was visiting from Texas. They enjoyed getting away from the heat, but we enjoyed spending time and playing with them.

For a few days they stayed in Manitou Springs, and had a place right by the creek. Of course Brady loved playing and fishing in the creek.
What is better than fishing with Grandpa?
This little one loved relaxing too.
