Crazy! And if this was not a trying day enough for me, he also got his first tooth. Baby gates, pulling up, and his first tooth all in one day! Why oh why must they grow!?!
That is just a tid bit of what we have been up to. Hopefully it will not be another month before I post! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-72849621600260548962011-10-11T21:03:00.000-07:002011-10-11T21:03:48.158-07:00UnpluggedI have been thinking about this for awhile, but I think I am going to unplug a bit. To explain let me share how many things I am currently involved in online. (By the way this post is completely ironic, so if you are thinking that then yes, you are correct.)

a personal email

a business/blog - proverbs31 life email

an other email, gmail account

this blog

proverbs31 life blog

my Jamberry nails website

my etsy site

My facebook page

My proverbs31 life facebook page

My jamberry facebook page

pintrest

google plus account (so lost on this one)

It is a lot. I do not check everything each day but, to check that many things a day is very time consuming. I have realized that I was spending too much time on the computer, so I set a goal of only an hour and a half a day. This seems like a lot, but after emails, and workish stuff, it is not very much time. Slowly time was still increasing.

Yesterday, a friend suddenly lost her dad. I am praying for this family, and I know that they are comforted by God's grace and promise of eternal life.

I am so sad for them but it made me think, something I do not think about enough.

If something were to suddenly happen to me, and I found myself kneeling before God, being judged for my life, what would I say? Would I say that, no Lord, I did not have time to properly worship you each day because I needed to blog? Would I say that instead of really getting into Your Word, I hurried through my bible study time, so I could send some emails? Would I say, I did not properly train up my children in Your Word because I was too tired to do their bible study time, since I stayed up on the computer the night before? Unfortunately I won't need to say these things, because they are true. They have happened. I will have to give an account for that time, and it is not good.

I need to repent for that, and I will change my ways.

I am not saying that no computer time is what God wants. But I am saying that putting something before God is wrong. It is idolatry, and my idol has been the computer.

I am going to unplug some. I probably will not be reading many blogs. I will not be getting on pintrest. I will check email and facebook for business stuff. I might blog once a week. I am going to be very strict with my computer time, and do a little detox.

I want to love the Lord with my whole heart, my whole soul, my whole strength, and my whole mind. I want to be able to account for my time, and I need to change some priority's in my life. There will be an account for both good and bad. I am always growing and I am just so thankful, that God is forgiving, and no matter what always loves me!

In fact, he was last Monday. He is growing too big too fast.

e adores his brother. He is smiley and coos and "talks". His laugh is so serious, and almost sounds like his cry. He can roll from his back to his stomach very easily.

He is not as good at rolling from stomach to back, but he can if he gets mad enough. He is starting to scoot around, and move a little.

He sleeps on his right side mostly, or on his stomach, which I do not like of course. He takes a short nap in the morning, but will sometimes sleep for 4 hours in the afternoon, if he needs to catch up!

His bedtime is 7pm, and he wakes up in between 6:30 am or 7 am. He still wakes up twice in the middle of the night, and immediately expects to be fed and then put back to bed. He sleeps in his crib at, and most times will fall asleep on his own.

He is grabbing for things, and I now have to watch things while holding him. He likes to suck on his socks and toes. As hard as I tired to make him love the pacifier, he gave it up. He has instead started sucking on his fingers.

So now we have one thumb sucker, and one finger sucker. He loves baths, and the exersaucer. He sat in the jumper at church for a good hour the other night. His eyes are still blue, but they are starting to get greener. He is an amazing baby, and just precious!
I was having a not good day, but that face just cheered me up a little bit. I hope it did the same for you. Isn't he the sweetest? How is he 4 months old already?Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-49351781023222016322011-09-13T21:12:00.000-07:002011-09-13T21:12:30.698-07:001st day of PreschoolLast Thursday was Brady first day of preschool. Every day for weeks he would ask if school was today. It was so nice when we could finally say yes!

He loves it! It is amazing, how after one day of preschool he is now longer shy. He will talk to everyone. Crazy, but good.

After his first day, during dinner, we did a little interview. You can tell from the interview what we were having for dinner. I did not prompt him for anything, I wrote down exactly what he said so it was very accurate. I think it will be cute to do again in future years on his firsts days of school.

- What is your name? Brady (Bray -de)
- How old are you? Three (with fingers) he then says 3 months old
- What is your favorite color? Orange
- Who is your best friend? Julien and Jayce
- Favorite animal? Giraffes, Monkeys, and Gorillas
- Who do you want to be when you grow up? The chicken
- What is your favorite movie? Jake and the Neverland Pirates
- What is your favorite book? Clifford book
- What makes you happy? Silly things
-What makes you sad? When Belle and Coco run into my friends house and make me cry (?)
- What is your favorite song to sing? ABC's (and then starts singing, but starts with the letter H)
- What games to do like to play? The Toy Story game

Can not believe that my baby is in school. He has left the nest. But when I pick him up and he runs to me and yells mommy, it melts my heart. We talk about his day, and he is so excited to tell me all about it and I love it. I am sad that my baby is growing up, but he is having a wonderful life and childhood, and what parent wouldn't want that for their child. He is only 3 and I am so proud of him.

They enjoyed getting away from the heat, but we enjoyed spending time and playing with them.

For a few days they stayed in Manitou Springs, and had a place right by the creek. Of course Brady loved playing and fishing in the creek.
As you can tell this will probably be this grossest post I have ever written. It happens quite often. Poo-plosions happen at church, home, the gym, middle of IKEA, Target, in the car, tons of places!

The other day, Brady was playing in the sprinklers, and afterwards I was getting him dried off. Bryson was playing in his exersaucer, happily, and I came back to check on him. He was all smiles, but then I noticed something near his foot. Upon closer inspection, a poo-plosion had happened! And the poor baby had his foot in it! Gross I know, but being the awesome mom I am, I did not get him. Instead I went to get the camera, and then I cleaned him, and the exersaucer. Such fun!
Even more fun... In the baby carrier, in the middle of IKEA, very far away from the car. We had to do all full bath in the middle of an IKEA bathroom. Thankfully I managed to stay clean.
Not sure why this happens so much, but I do not remember it happening as much with Brady.
Oh well. It is gross, but it happens. Just glad that I have learned to always be prepared and you can never have too many extra outfits.
He is so excited, but I am a little sad. I know it will be great for everyone, but I just can't get over the fact that my baby is going to school. We meet his teacher on Tuesday, and he starts on Thursday the 8th. Next thing you know he will be graduating college. Wahhhh!

Brady is a mess, and Bryson would not smile, he was ready for bedtime. He still wakes up at night for a little snack, but he is no longer swaddled. He takes naps in his crib, but sometimes falls asleep in between while playing.
For Brady's birth story you can read here, here, and here. Bryson's is not quite as long, so I think I can fit it in just one post, but it may be a long post.

Bryson was due on Monday, May 23rd 2011. We decided to wait until he was born to find out if he was a boy or a girl. (Spoiler alert: He was a boy!) I had a very good pregnancy compared to most people, but it was harder than the perfect pregnancy I had with Brady. Still can not decide if it was because it was a truly harder pregnancy, or if it was because I was chasing another little one around, and could not rest often. By mid May I was feeling pretty good, but I was really anxious to meet our baby, and see if we were having a boy or girl.
On Thursday May 19th, I woke up feeling great. We had a few errands, a trip to story time at the library, and a doctors appointment at 1:50. On our errands and at the library I had braxton hicks contractions that were really starting to get uncomfortable. I did not time them or anything, because they were not the super painful contractions, like real labor. I remember trying to listen to the story at storytime, while having a contraction, and wondering if I was in labor.
Once we got to the doctor, she checked me and I was 3cm dilated, and 80% effaced. After my doctor checked me she asked if I wanted her to strip my membranes. I was hesitant because I felt like I would be cheating if I did. She reassured me that it is just a natural way to help start labor, and I could start going into labor in the next 48 hours. We thought that sounded pretty good so we went for it.
Jeremy met Brady and I at the doctors appointment, so I had to drive the ten minutes home in my car. On the way home, I was hurting pretty bad, but it did not feel like labor, just what I thought was pain from the appointment. Once I got home, I decided to take a nice warm bath and relax, hopefully stopping the uncomfortableness. Brady kept interrupting my bath, so it was short lived. Once I got out, I talked to my sister in-law, and had a nice snack. (Cheddar cheese Ruffle chips, nice and healthy!)
I skyped my mom, to let her know that we might have the baby in the next 48 hours. While talking to her I decided to try out my cell phone contraction timer app. At first they were about 5 ish minutes apart. They were much less intense than with Brady so I just did not think I was in real labor. Jeremy called his mom and was ready to go to the hospital. At about 4 o'clock or so my contractions were 4 ish minutes apart, and I decided to put down the chips. It was fun skyping with my mom and timing my contractions. Jeremy really wanted to go to the hospital, but I still was not thinking I was in labor. I would whisper to my mom the time between contractions, and Jeremy would yell "let's go"! When my contractions got under 4 minutes, we decided to head out. Jeremy had already called his mom to come over and watch Brady, he was happily watching some old mickey mouse movie when we left.
We got to the hospital at 4:44pm. The nurse checked me, and called my doctor. I was at 7cm, and everyone knew my labor would go fast. My doctor is so amazing. Even though she was not on call, and could have headed home to her family, she decided to stay and deliver! Truly the best doctor ever! While in triage, I still did not think I was in real labor because it was not similar to labor with Brady. Then I threw up, and the real pain started at about 5:00. I knew we were in real labor, and I was so excited and ready to meet our baby.

Pain this time was different, I could breathe, and concentrate through each contraction. I still knew that I wanted an epidural. I know that this is a sensitive subject for some people, and everyone has their own opinion. I could have made it, but my experience with Brady was full of joy not pain, so why would I want to change that? I think everyone should see what their body can handle, and then go from there.
At around 6:00, I got my epidural, and immediately felt better. Brady and Nana and Gramps arrived, and I put on a little more make up, and enjoyed visiting. At 6:30 my doctor checked me, I was at 8cm, and broke my water. Brady and family came back in to visit, and I felt the need to push. They all left and my doctor came back. I pushed for 2 counts of 10 and he was out! Born at exactly 7:00, easiest labor ever!
No tearing, no stitches, nothing!
When his head was out we knew he was a boy. Such an exciting moment. Perfect, and looked just like Brady. He was covered in vernix, like no other baby I have ever seen.

He got cleaned up, and was able to nurse right away. He had a perfect latch from the start, and has ever since. We were so in love immediately.
The only bummer of his birth was that Jeremy wanted to tell everyone that he was a boy, and the nurse did it for us. Next time we know to tell the nurses that we would like to tell our family.

No one tells you that the after labor contractions hurt worse with your second baby. Well, they do! Ouch! Apparently they are even worse with the third baby. At least when you are in labor you are working towards having your baby, but after just hurts!

We had to stay in the hospital for 24 hours, and we left at exactly 7:00 the next evening. We loved being home and a family of four ever since.
Some days you just have to let go of control, and let your kids have fun making a mess. (Some days, not all, or I would go crazy!) I feel like too much of the time I am too busy to even play with Brady. Once I make time for it, I love it, and I am always so proud of what an amazing kid he is.

This day we played with paint, and Brady wanted a paint mustache. No idea where he got that from, but I was cool with it.

We also played with Gymboree bubbles. They are the absolute best bubbles. We headed southwest to Southfork, Colorado. It was beautiful, and we really enjoy that area. They call it little Texas in that area because tons of Texans travel there, so we fit in well.

On the way we stopped at the Great sand dunes. The sand was beautiful but very hot, so we did not stay for too long. The sand gets to 140 degrees in the day!

We rented a house that slept 15, for all of our family, but the first night it was just our little family. It was such a blessing and I am so glad I have great pictures of him before he started growing like crazy.
Here are a few favorites, for all of them check facebook.
It is so special to me. I am pretty sure she does not do the photo book and frame for everyone, but she can do great photos for you also!
If you are in the Colorado Springs area, or know someone who is, check out her facebook page, and get in contact with her for a photo session.
I am hoping to get a crocheted cocoon done in time for her next newborn photo shoot, so her pictures can be even cuter!
I love friends that are blessings in your life! He has taken to sleeping in his bed so well! Yesterday and today he slept in his bed for both morning and afternoon naps. That means I get to spend one on one time with Brady in the morning, which has been so needed, and improved his behavior. In the afternoon, I get a little over an hour to myself! It has been awesome, and I am getting a ton done! He is still sleeping in the bassinet at night. He is ready for his bed, but I am not. I am missing some of my snuggle time with him, so I secretly let him sleep with me after he wakes up for his 3am- ish feeding. (shhh, Don't tell my pediatrician)

Third time is the charm for potty training Brady. No pee accidents! He has a harder time for #2, but that has always been his biggest battle. He is quite private. Either way, he looks like he will be ready for preschool! YAY!

If you are reading this, go right now to my other blog, and enter my giveaway. Even if you do not want to win, still enter. I can not even give something away? How am I gonna sell it!?! I guess, nobody said it would be easy.

He is perfect. He is 12 pounds, 1 ounce, and 24 inches long. He growing so well. I think he is extra chunky, but he is only in the 45th percentile. He also got his first shots today. He seemed okay, not too much crying when he got them, but now he is extra fussy. He got a little Tylenol, and should be good as new by tomorrow.

<img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-n9FRmy4aM4Q/Tjcn339GnUI/AAAAAAAACeg/eaqiITuhNmI/s400/P1060947.JPG" t$="true" width="400" />

Today was supposed to be the day the boys hated. But Brady went to the Denver zoo with his Nana and cousins instead. They had been planning it all summer and today was the only day they could go. So I felt bad saying Brady had to stay home and potty train and then go to the doctor to get shots. Bryson did take about an hour nap in his crib this morning. Because Brady was gone I was able to do some laundry and a few things around the house. I could get used to that time.

<img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-57cxz-Po4w0/Tjcn_IfKOwI/AAAAAAAACek/73eiv9QLEAA/s400/P1060936.JPG" t$="true" width="400" />
We already have a busy week and weekend ahead, along with sleep and potty training. Should be fun though, it always is around here!Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-87623385709941158732011-07-26T14:15:00.000-07:002011-07-26T14:15:16.212-07:00Busy, BusyI am seemingly really busy right now. I feel like I have so much to do, but not enough hours in the day to do it. Here is a slight random account of what is going on in my little world right now.

Tomorrow we are going on a little trip! Very excited to get away for a (hopefully) peaceful vaca. We are headed to Southfork, Co. Which is a very small, pretty much unknown town in southwest Colorado. They are known for fishing and some rafting, but that is about it. We are renting a big house, and Jeremy's parents, sisters, husband and boyfriend, niece and nephews are all coming along too. We are just staying for 5 days, but it is still a ton of packing and planning for a 3 year old and a newborn.

Yesterday Brady's cousin Zack came over to play, and I thought that would give me time to get some things done. I was wrong. They play great together, and instead of laundry Bryson and I had great fun playing with them.

<img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZxDtr-yNY1Y/Ti8soX-uQwI/AAAAAAAACd0/i_oVicuQ8jE/s400/P1070136.JPG" t$="true" width="400" />

I have some awesome friends. Today I got to spend some time with one friend who did a wonderful photo shoot of Bryson a few weeks ago. She was so sweet and along with the pictures, gave us a framed print, and a photo book. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gift. Today I also got to see a friend who was visiting that moved away. We had a nice lunch, and it was so good to see her. I miss all of my friends that have moved away, or live in different places. But I am so thankful for technology, and it is pretty cool to have friends all over the place.

Bryson is two months old and precious. He is such a happy baby. I have not gotten him to take naps in his bed yet, so each day during nap time I end up holding him and working on the computer and catching up on my bible study.

<img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RgNoHkSk248/Ti8szW4XItI/AAAAAAAACd4/8DoJ0RG8SDk/s400/P1070132.JPG" t$="true" width="400" />

I am trying to workout, and lose my baby weight. It is not happening with just exercise. I think I may need to diet also. Gasp! I normally eat fairly healthy, and workout, and it does the trick, but something isn't working, and I am gaining weight. It was easy to lose the baby weight after Brady, but this time it is much harder. After this vacation week, Jeremy and I have a bet going to see who can lose the weight they want to lose first. He can lose weight so fast when he puts his mind to it, so I am a little worried.

Monday, August 1st will be a hard day for our boys. It is the day that I am going to make Bryson start taking naps in his room. But even bigger it will be the day that I re, re- potty train Brady. You read that right, he is not potty trained. He completely regressed after Bryson was born. He had accidents constantly, and would not even tell us when he needed to go. He gave up, and we gave him time hoping he would get motivation on his own again, but he has not yet. September 8th is the day he starts preschool. If he is not potty trained by then, then he better learn how to hold it from 9 - 11:30, Tuesdays and Thursdays! Pray for us please!

<img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3HU5bQnFHZ0/Ti8s5pmv1mI/AAAAAAAACd8/QHlJDpbKKcQ/s400/P1060977.JPG" t$="true" width="400" />

I am really trying to work on getting stuff back into my etsy shop. I have been working on the craft blog, so I can hopefully use that as a resource to point others to my etsy shop. I also started a facebook page for the blog/shop. I have so many ideas and plans, I just need more time. I know once I get Bryson to sleep in his bed for naps I will have more time and energy to put into it all.

I am an independent consultant for a company called Jamberry Nails. I am really excited about this product, and I think others will be too. I am nervous because this is not really my thing, a saleswoman, but I am excited to meet new people, and hopefully earn some extra money for our family. (Hello vacation fund!)

Well I think that is it. It does not seem that crazy, but keeping the house nice, taking care of the boys, making dinners, seeing friends, church, trying to start a home business, being a good wife, and working out, it all adds up. Really excited to see where everything leads me, and I really am loving life! (Just will love it a little more, when Brady is potty trained!
Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-80666600878698796972011-07-18T14:09:00.000-07:002011-07-18T14:09:29.589-07:00What to do?Making to do lists are genetic for me. My mom is a fantastic planner and list maker. In fact planning was a huge part of her career before she moved to Russia to become a non-paid planner and fantastic wife. So I have grown to love to do lists. I enjoy marking things off the lists. I currently have about 6 or 7 lists going. Grocery list, Costco list, packing for our trip list, things to do on our trip list, crafty to do list, thank you note list, and then my weekly to do list.

Every week I have a to do list. I sit down on Sunday evening and make my list. It used to be just a normal piece of paper with a huge list of the things I needed to do that week. I rarely would complete my list because everything would get put off and then I would try to finish everything on Saturday. Then I started to separate my list by days. It worked well for me, and I felt so accomplished when I would cross things off of my list.

Last week, at the Target dollar spot, I found this notepad. It is magnetic, separated into days, starts on Monday, and perfect. I bought two, but now I wish I would of bought more, because I will be really sad when I run out.

<img border="0" height="400" m$="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DfdJ3z3-hcA/TiSfR06VAXI/AAAAAAAACcs/I7ZC71Eylwg/s400/P1060935.JPG" width="368" />

I put simple things on the list, even a load of laundry, or what I will be making for dinner. Honestly these days, planning, making, serving, and cleaning up dinner is a pretty big chore. At the end of each day, I love to see all the little check marks of what I got done. Some days, not everything gets checked off, but that's okay, I catch up another day in the week. It is amazing how something so simple can be so helpful.

<img border="0" height="400" m$="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lRL326GeBXM/TiSfT8VrpuI/AAAAAAAACcw/WgPqJl9kuKQ/s400/P1060934.JPG" width="397" />
Another thing I that I have done recently is keeping a spreadsheet of the meals we eat. By keeping track of everything we eat, I can make sure we don't have the same meals over and over again. So easy, but again so helpful. So now you know of my obsessions with lists. What about you? Are you a list maker? If so you may need one of those lists pads, they are wonderful!Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-2712292308200115462011-07-15T13:57:00.000-07:002011-07-15T13:57:31.247-07:00Do EverythingSince having Bryson, and the initial elation wore off, I realized how hard raising two boys is. Ever since, I had been in a funk. Long story short, I was having a hard time. Somehow I had forgotten what my purpose in life is, and I was being selfish and really feeling sorry for myself. It took a mild breakdown, that involved Jeremy having to come home early from work, and a lot of prayer to get back to a better place. I was feeling better, and grateful, but still overwhelmed and kinda in a permanent bad mood.

Then I heard a song on the radio that spoke to me. Have you ever heard something a hundred times, and then all the sudden it clicks? I know that God uses songs, people, various things to speak to someone. After taking way too long to get out the door and into the car, (no fault by me, mind you), we were on the road, and this song by Steven Curtis Chapman, at that moment, was for me.
Here are some of the lyrics:

You’re picking up toys on the living room floor
for the 15th time today
Matching up socks and sweeping up lost
Cheerios that got away
You put a baby on your hip and color on your lips
and head out the door

And while I may not know you I bet I know you
Wonder sometimes does it matter at all
We’ll let me remind you it all matters just as long as you

Do everything you do to the glory of the One who made you
Cause He made you to do
Every little thing that you do to bring a smile to His face
And tell the story of grace
With every move that you make
And every little thing you do

Somehow I forgot my purpose in life. It is always to bring God glory! Currently I am doing that by raising two amazing boys.

<img border="0" height="300" m$="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-edXcDNkI-mw/TiCoWbwlwoI/AAAAAAAACck/Upi9aJBhJh0/s400/P1060874.JPG" width="400" />
I am so thankful that I was reminded of that and I can get back to what God has called me to do right now. I hope that what ever you do in life, you do it to bring God glory. After all that is why we are here in the first place!Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-70833844278417449292011-07-11T15:33:00.000-07:002011-07-11T15:33:28.067-07:00New Camera!Yes you read that right, a new camera! I am so thrilled!

<img border="0" m$="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mqVhfEEV5LQ/Tht5V8d-xFI/AAAAAAAACb8/gkZYmUrvVag/s1600/41Bu6vo9GgL__SL500_AA300_.jpg" />

My sister-in-law, bought this camera a little less than a year ago, for her around the world trip.

She took amazing pictureswith it, like this favorite of mine.

<img border="0" height="640" m$="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XB0MQRvlQjk/Tht6HzYRjnI/AAAAAAAACcM/nG6qFdTzo_8/s640/5191177768_22ce7fdc2e_b.jpg" width="388" />

I know she also took great care of it. She let me know a few days ago that she had listed it on craigs list to sell it. She is headed to Asia with her boyfirend for a few months, and he has an even better camera. Instead of two DSLR type cameras they wanted one really awesome DSLR and then also a good point and shoot. So after talking to Jerm about it, and getting a great family discount, we decided to get it!

<img border="0" height="480" m$="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-x_itQoGQ1CQ/Tht5Y7qdsLI/AAAAAAAACcA/ZSsD4cAEdBU/s640/P1060743.JPG" width="640" />

I have played with it only a little, but I am so excited to get to know it more. One of the things I like about it, is that it is a great camera for beginers, (me) and also, it is smaller than a regular DLSR. Once I get to know the camera then I will move up to a better lens. We got a great deal, with a case, memory card, and lens filter, all for about half the retail price!

<img border="0" height="480" m$="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2x1xmOV7jAY/Tht5aw_tzbI/AAAAAAAACcE/-6iNVHzGLlk/s640/P1060720.JPG" width="640" />

Get ready for some much better pictures soon!

<img border="0" height="480" m$="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qSzF8wCM2no/Tht5hdpUNvI/AAAAAAAACcI/qideJg0u-ik/s640/P1060823.JPG" width="640" />
Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5361345054818493615.post-91149430988728057242011-07-04T14:06:00.000-07:002011-07-04T14:06:52.617-07:00Blog?Blogs? What blogs? I almost made it a full month without blogging!

Brady update: He is as busy as ever. He is having a wonderful time being three. He adores his brother. He has completely reversed potty trained himself. :( He had a bit of, (sometimes still does) jealousy issues, but he is getting better each day. He takes those issues out on us, by acting out, and thankfully never on the baby. He says the funniest things, and also knows everything!

Bryson update: He is a chunk, and bigger than Brady was at this age. He is wearing a onezie right now that Brady wore when he could eat baby food, at 5 months old! He lets me put him down to sleep at night right before Brady, so we are getting a few hours of time without children. He is super smiley, and it is not just gas! He still has to be held most hours of the day, so the moby wrap is used a ton!

Belle and Coco update: They have the most boring life ever, but they enjoy that we are home more often.

Me update: I am starting to feel like I am getting things under control. I was able to clean the house this weekend. I am trying to ignore that it is already messy again. I am praying daily that Brady is potty trained by September 8th, so that he can go to preschool. I am excited for my doctors appointment tomorrow so that I can get the go ahead to start working out again. I am very excited for the little vacation we are taking in a few weeks to southwest Colorado.

Jeremy update: He is the best, most patient husband and father, The End.

Happy Forth of July everyone!
You know what else? It is also even harder than I thought it would be. I definitely forgot how much time and attention a newborn needs. I was used to the get up and go with Brady, but with Bryson we take hours before we get anywhere.
It is completely awesome! Bryson is amazing, and so sweet and perfect. Brady loves his brother so much, and we are loving our perfect little family.

We have been busy, so I will catch you up with some pictures.
Part of Jeremy's job includes being on call every 4th week. It sometimes stinks, but the great part is that the following week he gets Friday off. So every 4th week is a 3 day weekend. We love these days. We try to plan fun things on these days, and enjoy all the time we can with one another. It is like a bonus Saturday.
(I was hoping it would be the last weekend as a family of three, but it does not look like it will happen that way.)

We gave Brady a choice of things to do so he picked the zoo.

We also ran a few errands and had a nice lunch out. It was beautiful weather, and would have been a perfect day, with the exception of the afternoon where I felt horrible. I guess it comes with being extremely pregnant.

Crazy to think that so soon we will be adding one to this family. It is so exciting, and we are all ready. Bring on baby!

Melissahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02935714008750094710noreply@blogger.com0
